In order to retain a private property, FIRU mbH was commissioned by Wohnungsbaugesellschaft Neustadt an der Weinstraße mbH to carry out a two-stage, competitive procedure together with the city of Neustadt an der Weinstraße. The submitted documents were reviewed by a jury consisting of representatives of the housing association as a salesman, the mayor of the city Neustadt an der Weinstraße, members of the city administration, representatives of the city council represented factions and an external expert on the basis of the pre-examination of FIRU mbH and then formulated suggestions for improvement , In bidder talks representatives of Wohnungsbaugesellschaft Neustadt an der Weinstraße mbH and Stadtverwaltung together with FIRU mbH sent the bidders the points of criticism and suggestions for improvement to the jury. Subsequently, the bidders had the opportunity to optimize their offers and submit them. The bidder Sachs Real Estate GmbH was awarded for his concept a 4 star + hotel on the edge of the station forecourt with associated catering and spa area. In addition, the jury was impressed by the architecture of the parking garage to be constructed as well as the operator concept and the use of the existing buildings.
